asus quallcom devices is not like any other quallcom devices, you cant activate diagnostic port via adb or root, the only way you can activate diagnostic port is by flashing CSC firmware, when flashing is complete and the device is on, it will automatically detects diagnostic ports and all the other ports for repair, after that you can work on qcn and imei. good luck.

ufi quallcom imei repair are generic, i guess it wont work on your phone. try to write qcn instead, i know its hard to find asus qcn files but good luck. but if you had qcn files and failed to write it, you might want to check if the diagnostic port are correct, if spc sends failed, its wrong port.

Hello,
For asus qualcomm devices, like just mention by Jesus , just flash csc firmware for imei repairing procedure, because csc is engineering firmware, so all diagnostic port, even root access is already open.
Before write or restore imei, please do erase imei data (modemst1, modemst2, fsg), and you can follow by writing qcn in diag port. But, again, make sure baseband version is available before writing.
If baseband unknown, even after writing csc firmware, please check hardware at first, mostly wtr ic in most qualcomm devices.

Allie You don't need to enter diag mode in CSC OS, its already switch on and root by default.
You only need to select proper diag port in device manager in service tab, and restore imei via qcn file.
