oppo f9 lockscreen
my friend execute my oppo f9 CPH1823 testpoint via ufi android toolbox
with latest firmware and he checklist erase before flash in the tool

then my HH is bricked
i try to dirrect my oppo f9 and the result my oppo f9 bootlop
i see the notice in the screen *( TOOL DOWNLOAD FAILED ) xxxx xxxx xxx phone will be restart after 1 minutes.

and i try to dirrect again via ufi emmc toolbox
my step

ident
factory reset
write partition checlist 1,2,3,4,5
erase all partisi and flash full fw A.17

and then error in the file vendor, system,cache,userdata
the notice Unknown chunk type 0x0000 at 0x00E100C4
Wrote 50082938 blocks, expected to write 13460731 block

and now every time for ident failed
the notice PRELOADER_ERROR_blablabla i forget it.

This option will erase partitions according to firmware images, so the preloader will remain untouch.
Because I don't really get your situation, so I just give you general advice.
Make sure you have correct firmware, the same version if posible with the device.
Backup unique partitions : nvram, nvdata, reserve1-2-3-4, proinfo, oppo_custom.

Maybe you can see this post error invalid preloader for this issue.
Unless you can't find correct firmware, above error will always occurs.
