What is a correct way to remove FRP ?
I guess:
1. Identification
2.Clear FRP lock - from Special tasks

I tried that procedure but FRP was not removed and credit was not returned

UFI says:
Any Special Tasks in MediaTek platform require write access and will not work for this model due to secure boot.

Is there a different / proper way how to remove FRP in this Redmi 6 - it is Mediatek ?

Any Special Tasks in MediaTek platform require write access and will not work for this model due to secure boot.

This special task will write dummy image to frp partition, but write access to this secure region is note allowed by secure boot mechanism.
So, instead of using special task, because write is not allowed, you can manually select the FRP partition and do Erase to this partition to clear FRP lock.

madgoeslim Thanks for the reply. And must I also FIRST use Identify Device option and only then Erase FRP option?

Jane Sure, just do Identify Device befora any operations.
After do Identify, you will see the index partition inside the flash storage, you can select FRP partition, and do erase to clear that.
