There are restore mechanism in windows 10, after restore your system, you can start install UFI latest setup include all drivers neccessery for most android platform.

Jane Did UFI team test the driver with Win 10?

I personally using win 10 64 bit for daily use, and have no problem with MTK driver.

I follow the instructions from this site : https://tehnotone.com/windows-10-mtk-vcom-usb-drivers-for-32-64-bit-drivers-installation-tutorial/ . When i attach MTK device via usb it detected by windows in device manager for about 2 seconds and then disappear, after that nothing happened. UFI cannot detect any active port. I took inisiative to install Mtk Preloader USB VCOM but it ended with warning sign. UFI can detect it, but i got error result when i tried to identify.

I use also Windows 10 64 bit and have the same problem. I found out that I must first start UFI ( or any other program that works with MTK ). And only after that ( when UFI is already waiting /checking port) I can connect a mobile. I am not sure if it is a correct way but it works for me, Is it a proper way?Who knows?

Maybe the driver is not compatible with newest Win 10. Any other idea??

paulocuelho It is a question to UFI team. Did UFI team test the driver with Win 10? Anyone from UFI team can answer?

madgoeslim When you attach MTK device,( you only attach MTK device - you do not start any software such as UFI, Infinity etc) is that device detected( and REMAINS detected) in Device manager for more than 15 seconds?

I have LG G3 Stylus (which is MTK based) and when i connect it to my notebook, its detected in device manager for only about 2 seconds as PORT and then disappear. The device then switch to charging state.

paulocuelho similar to me - detected in Device manager for a very short period and then disappear,
( if not already UFI waiting for the connection. if it is ,then the port remains and it works). Not sure if it is a common, right behaviour or not.
