Hello,
If you face Failed in Factory Reset procedure, you can try to flash only cache and userdata images from the stock rom, it will save you from bootloop issue.

experiencing the same error at the moment..

the unit is still alive.. even after error

this is the first time i encountered this.. done around 20 units or more of a3s with no problem

Hi, I just suggest the solution in above reply, kindly read it from above post.

I already solved this problem by replacing the isp wires.. turns out one of the CMD, CLK, D0 lines was the problem.. I'm not sure which one because i replaced them all then the error "unknown chuck type" disappeared and the format option worked flawlessly again.. maybe you can try it too..

Pradeephd3 Hello,
User data and cache image is inside firmware folder. You can use UFI Android ToolBox to extract Oppo OFP , and get image firmware from there.

For everyone here, avoid using factory reset to clear user lock.
Use [Oppo] Master Clear for safety operations, without data lost, and no risk of dead boot.
