MSM8940 and MSM 8937 is the same series, the different only LTE technology.
From perspective of xiaomi, prime have slightly different hardware change regarding to their selling methode, like features by biger lpddr and rom size, high camera sensor for selfie, and fingerprint.
But there are only one redmi note 5A with MSM8937 loader as their main programmer, so can flash above file to both note 5A or prime.
