Redmi 7A eMMC replacement only

Is it possible to replace faulty eMMC, in Redmi 7A, with a new eMMC , without replacing CPU as well? Anyone knows?

Of course it's still possible to replace emmc redmi 7a,
especially with new emmc, or emmc with clean rpmb,
and of course with the right firmware and backup of the original efs partition.

madgoeslim Thanks for your reply. I do not have the original EFS partition becasue eMMC became dead.
Is there a proper/suitable firmware available anywhere? Can you please advice ?

madgoeslim useing Samsung rpmb cleaned emmc flashed eng rom but system destroyed
on stock miui firmware phone 900E only tryed flash appsboot and devcfg from eng rom but same result
'the system has been destroyed" ? any ideas?

iPro You may try to unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery, and sideload the firmware.

how about patch boot option in special task? (stock ROM, ENG ROM)?

or, with eng rom,-
if u can install and running custom recovery or access sideload.
try flash disable dm-verity and forceencrypt file.
try this one.
